Bollywood actress Esha Deol, who recently returned to the big screen with 'Tumko Meri Kasam', has expressed her desire to see her blockbuster film 'Dhoom' back in theatres. In a recent conversation, the actress reflected on the lasting impact of the action thriller and shared her thoughts on the trend of film re-releases.
'Dhoom' remains one of Esha’s most cherished projects. Speaking about the recent trend of older films being re-released in cinemas, she acknowledged that it ultimately depends on audience demand and producer decisions. “And if there is a necessity for such films, I would absolutely like some of my films to be back in theatres again. I think it's up to the audience and also the producers to decide which ones they would pick,” she stated.
When asked if she had a personal list of films she’d like to see return to theatres, she enthusiastically named Dhoom as her top choice. “First, it would be Dhoom. The kind of love I got for that film is unmatched. A lot of youngsters and kids still remember me because of Dhoom. It has touched all generations and kept them glued,” she said.
Abhishek Bachchan rejected for ‘Dhoom 4’

Apart from 'Dhoom', she also expressed her fondness for Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, a romantic drama that holds a special place in her heart. “It’s such a sweet love story. I am someone who absolutely believes in love,” she added.
Meanwhile, director Vikram Bhatt, who was part of the discussion, offered a different perspective on film re-releases. He pointed out that while nostalgia plays a significant role, he personally prefers moving forward rather than revisiting old projects.

Directed by Vikram Bhatt, 'Tumko Meri Kasam' was released in theatres on March 21. Anupam Kher, Adah Sharma, and Ishwak Singh play the lead roles in the movie. It earned around Rs 65 lakh in theatres.
