Investigations begin in Geetika Tyagi-Subhash Kapoor case

Mumbai Police will soon file a chargesheet in the Geetika Tyagi-Subhash Kapoor case. The National award-winning Bollywood director, who was accused of molestation by the starlet, was arrested on Monday evening and later released on bail. The arrest came after representatives of the National Commission for Women met Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria last week and requested him to take action.“We examined the evidence and arrested Kapoor. We will file a chargesheet later,” said an officer.

According to Geetika, Subhash had molested her two years ago. Evidence includes a video that was circulated on social networking sites, a few months ago. The video showed the director, his wife and the starlet in a confrontation, with her recounting the incident. Subhash is also seen confessing to the crime in the video.
