Katrina Kaif opens up about the challenging towel fight scene in Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3'

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, 'Tiger 3' introduces a unique showdown where Katrina's Zoya takes on Michelle Lee, known for her appearances in 'Black Widow' (2021) and 'Bullet Train' (2022).
Talking to Mid Day, the actress said that the scene was filmed in Turkey back in September 2021, and it wasn't just a typical action sequence. Katrina and Michelle underwent weeks of intensive training under the guidance of action director Oh Sea Young, mastering the intricate movements with precision. The challenge was not just the combat itself, but the steamy hammam setting added a layer of complexity. The steam made it tricky to maintain a firm grip, execute defensive manoeuvres, and land punches and kicks accurately.
Katrina Kaif expressed that she believes this particular fight scene is not usual in Indian cinema, featuring two women engaging in such an intense hand-to-hand combat scenario. She also shared her enthusiasm for the role of Zoya, the first female undercover agent in Yash Raj Films' spy universe, allowing her to demonstrate her skills. She expressed her love for taking on risky action sequences, and 'Tiger 3' is no exception, providing her with the opportunity to push her boundaries further.
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, reprising their roles as Avinash and Zoya, have already generated immense excitement with the teaser and trailer of 'Tiger 3.' Fans eagerly await the film's release.
