Katrina Kaif, often regarded as one of the most stunning actresses, recently revealed that she sometimes feels the pressure to meet certain beauty standards, especially on days when she's not feeling her best.
The 'Tiger' actress admitted there are times when she finds herself complaining about her appearance and weight. In those moments, her husband, Vicky Kaushal, steps in to reassure and calm her.
In a conversation with Huda Kattan, Katrina Kaif discussed the motivation behind launching her beauty brand, Kay Beauty.

She explained that there were times when she felt obligated to meet certain beauty standards or stereotypes. During certain days or months when she felt she didn’t quite measure up, she experienced a sense of judgment, as though she didn’t deserve to be in her position if she wasn’t looking perfect or at her best. This feeling of being judged deeply resonated with her, leading her to create her own brand.
Katrina Kaif further explained that the emotional toll of feeling judged based on appearance was hurtful, especially since one doesn’t always look their best every month or even every year. She questioned whether this meant she didn’t deserve her place, wondering if it was all about physicality. This reflection became the driving force behind the creation of the Kay Beauty community.
The actress shared that during moments of self-doubt about her physical appearance, especially when preparing for an event, she sometimes finds herself complaining about not being happy with how she looks or feeling uncomfortable due to weight gain.
In these instances, her husband, Vicky Kaushal, gently reminds her of the message she promotes through her beauty brand, saying, "Aren’t you the one who tells everyone it’s okay to be yourself and to accept who you are?" Katrina acknowledged that while his reminder can be a bit cheeky, it helps her realign with the values she stands for and reminds her to apply the same kindness to herself.
On the work front, Katrina was last seen in the film 'Merry Christmas', which premiered on January 12, 2024. This mystery thriller, directed by Sriram Raghavan, also stars South actor Vijay Sethupathi.
