Pahlaj Nihalani’s new film ‘Anari Is Back’ is ready for release

Filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani is back with his next film and this time it’s a family entertainer set on the backdrop of COVID Times. ETimes reached out to Pahlaj Nihalani who revealed key details about the shoot of his new film. He said, “I shot the film in March and April and had planned for a December release but looking at the situation right now, we will decide on the release a little later.”
Pahlaj has cast his ‘Rangeela Raja’ heroine Mishika Chaurasia as the leading lady with newcomer Nawab Khan the lead opposite her.He further revealed, “I have Mithun Chakraborty, Anita Raaj and Shakti Kapoor playing some important roles in the film. I also have a lot of new-age actors playing character roles in the film.”
So what is the title of the film? Nihalani revealed, “It is titled ‘Anari Is Back’ as the hero of the film is an innocent and honest man, therefore, the title.” Nihalani's film has already received clearance from the Censor Board and is now waiting for release.
