Renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is stepping into the digital space with an upcoming OTT series, featuring actor Vikrant Massey in the lead role. The latest reports confirm that Massey has officially commenced shooting for the project in Goa.
According to OTTplay, Vikrant Massey has arrived in Goa, where Rajkumar Hirani’s highly anticipated web series has officially begun filming. A source close to the production revealed that the actor has already started working on the project amidst the picturesque backdrop of the coastal state. While filming is underway, further details regarding the storyline and cast remain undisclosed.

In a previous interview with News18, Rajkumar Hirani opened up about his foray into the OTT space. He explained that not all narratives fit the structure of a traditional feature film, and some stories are better suited for an extended format. The series he is currently developing was conceptualised during the pandemic, and he is wholeheartedly dedicated to it as the showrunner.
On December 2, 2024, Vikrant shocked his fans by sharing a retirement post on his Instagram account. He announced that his last film would be released in 2025 and that he would take a break to fulfil his role as a son, father, and husband. However, the actor later clarified that it was not a retirement post but merely a temporary break from the industry to refine his craft and return as a more polished actor.

On the work front, Vikrant Massey is gearing up for the release of 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan', a heartwarming romantic drama co-starring Shanaya Kapoor. Directed by Santosh Singh, the movie is slated for a 2025 release.
