Karishma Kapoor on Sachin: He was a teen sensation
The moment also sparked nostalgia for actress Karisma Kapoor, one of the film’s leading ladies. In an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, Karisma fondly recalled the muhurat day and seeing a black-and-white photo from the shoot featuring her with co-star Salman Khan and director Rajkumar Santoshi. “It was my first mahurat. Back then, we had to perform a live scene and deliver our lines. I remember being so nervous,” she admitted.

She also recalled Tendulkar gracing the occasion, calling him a “teen sensation” at the time. “Everyone was thrilled to see him,” she said, emphasizing how his presence elevated the already exciting day.
