Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married in June this year after dating for nearly 7 years. Even after knowing each other for such a long time, it feels like the couple is still in their honeymoon phase.
Sonakshi recently completed 14 years in the industry, as her debut film 'Dabangg' was released on September 10, 2010. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes, Zaheer reveals that they celebrate the release of 'Dabangg' every year; they made it a tradition when the film turned 10, but somehow they missed out on celebration this year.

Recalling the time when 'Dabangg' was released, he said, "I watch every single film in theater, but during Dabangg's release, I was traveling, and for 'Dabangg 2', I reached the venue 45 minutes late, so I was sitting on the stairs and watching the film, but I couldn’t understand as I had not seen the first and I was late for the second. So I had not seen both films for the longest time. It was also the only film of Salman Khan I had not seen till it came on TV.”
Zaheer also shared that he had been attending functions at Salman Khan’s place since 2013, but it wasn’t until 2017-18 when he bumped into Sonakshi. He said, "We've been missing each other at parties and functions for like 4-5 years. We would be in the same place but wouldn't bump into each other. Galaxy Apartment is like 1 BHK, and we weren't able to find each other there.”
“When we were chilling for the first time, I asked her, ‘How come you never come for Salman Bhai’s birthday party?’ and she was like I was there for every one of them, but we both were dancing in different corners,” he added.
