Harshika Poonacha begins shooting for Thaytha

Actress Harshika Poonacha has begun shooting for the college caper Thaytha in Chikkamagaluru. The project, which marks the directorial debut of Laya Kokila, has newbie Riyan in the lead role.
Posting pictures from the set on social media, Harshika wrote, “#Thayta starts rolling in the heavenly hills of Chikmagalur. Movie is directed by @layakokila sir and produced by @shaik_shahid_official sir starring @riyanrk70 @harshikapoonachaofficial and an amazing set of artists.Best part of the movie is working with my most favorite choreographers #MadanHarini masters, They've choreographed all the songs of my first movie #PUC when I was just 15 and seen me grow, till date working with them has always been an honor. Love you master. (sic)”
According to sources, “The sequences of students on a trip to Chikkamagaluru have been shot. After this schedule, the team will head to the North Karnataka region to shoot some pivotal sequences.” In the film, Harshika plays a studious college student who loves to spend time with her friends. What happens when she heads off on an excursion with her friends forms the rest of the narrative.
