Exclusive: Kushee Ravi says her role in Telugu debut film is ‘beyond your imagination’

News of Kushee Ravi making inroads into Telugu films with Sundeep Kishan was doing the rounds a while ago. But, the buzz now is that the Dia fame actor will be debuting in Tollywood with the content-oriented flick, Rudra, instead.
“Yes, I was supposed to do that film and was looking forward to working with Vi Anand sir, but I had date issues and had to drop out of it.They are collaborating with me on another film. Meanwhile, the Rudra team approached me and everything fell in place and I took it up,” shares Kushee.
The film is being directed by Bhargava Poludasu, who had earlier helmed a flick called Gatham. “He is also the male protagonist and his character is visually impaired. As for my role, it can’t be slotted as deglam or glam. But you wouldn’t have ever imagined that Kushee would play such a role. It is beyond your imagination and my fans will be in for a huge surprise when they see me in it,” states the actor.
Kushee’s look has been designed by a team from the US and make-up artistes from LA have been enlisted to do her look. “I sit for hours every day when they work on me, so I leave it to the audience’s imagination as to what I’ll be playing,” she smiles.
But one thing is for sure. Making a foray into another language does not mean that she is ready to cross the line she’s drawn for herself. “A share of glamour is fine. But intimate scenes or going bold on screen is not my cup of tea. Besides, people still love me as Dia and I will never break their heart,” she signs off
