Meet the three important characters of Chitrakatha

Soon-to-be-released Kannada film , which marks the debut of engineer-turned-actor Sujeeth Rathod, also features three major characters that required to be played by some of the stalwarts of the industry. Here’s a look at how crucial these roles — played by actors Sudharani, B Jayashree and Dilip Raj — have been to the plot:

He plays Uttam Varma, who is an artist who is so crazy about his work that he remains detached from the contemporary world. This character has his own story in the plot, as a lot of the challenges he faces have been highlighted too.

After a long hiatus, one can look forward to watching theatre personality and actress B Jayashree back on silver screen. She plays a Koravanji (a soothsayer) — a character who predicts the future of the protagonist Rana (played by Sujeeth). Incidentally, she has also sung the song Duddigaagi for the film.

She is essaying the role of a psychiatrist called Samaya, who treats protagonist Rana during his difficult times. Her character interconnects at various plots in the movie.
