Shooting movies abroad is a norm now for the Indian film industry and the Kannada film industry is very much keeping up with the trend. Now wonder then, when a film crew decides to shoot abroad, audiences are not surprised. But, when it comes to a director like
Yogaraj Bhat, it surely grabs eyeballs because the director hasn’t shot any films abroad for nearly ten years now.
Now, news is that Yogaraj is going to be shooting his film Vaasthuprakara in Malaysia as the film is set there and major part of it will be shot there. The film is being produced by MN Kumar and
Kari Subbu.
While this is Yogaraj’s ninth film, the director has shot abroad for only one of his films, Ranga SSLC. A song that was filmed on
Sudeep and
Ramya from the film was shot in Malaysia. Apart from that, all of his films like Mani, Mungaru Male, Galipata, Manasaare, Pancharangi, Paramatma and Drama were shot in Karnataka itself.
