Even after a good weekend, the Prabhas-starrer ‘Adipurush’ seems to have not impressed the family audiences all over and in
Kerala as well. Reportedly, the 5th-day collection figures for
Om Raut’s directorial fantasy film amount to only Rs 1.7 crore in Kerala.
Expected to be the biggest comeback of
Prabhas after the flop films ‘Saaho’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’, ‘Adipurush’ didn’t manage to impress the critics and fans as well, even though Om Raut handled the drama portions flawlessly.
The music of the Prabhas-starrer ‘Adipurush’ was also said to be one of the positive factors of the movie.
Scripted by Manoj Muntashir and Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ hit the big screens on June 16. Touted to be an action adventure, the film is an adaptation of the Indian mythology ‘Ramayan’.
Prabhas played the character Raghav in the film, along with
Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan, who played Janaki and Lankesh, respectively. Karthik Palani cranked the lens for the film, which was edited by Ashish Mhatre and Apurva Motiwale.
On the other hand, the recently released Malayalam film ‘Madhuram Manoharam Moham’ is getting good reviews from the audiences and is also doing a decent job at the box office.
