Genelia Deshmukh has acted in ‘Urumi’ directed by Santosh Sivan. She essayed the lead role of Arakkal Ayesha, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran. She romanced Prithviraj Sukumaran on-screen and the song “Aaro Nee Aaro” featuring them continues to conquer the hearts of music lovers and movie buffs alike.
In an interview given back then, she spoke about her co-star Prithviraj Sukumaran, “I feel Prithvi will be a rage if he comes to Bollywood. He’s got the hunky looks and has good command over not JUST Malayalam but other languages also. So I fell he will do well if he does Hindi films.”
