'18 am Padi's' new song 'Beemapalli' released

The much-awaited video song, 'Beemapalli' from '18 am Padi' is out! The song gives a glimpse of actor Mammootty. It is a mix of a ghazal and devotional tune and is so peaceful that it touches one’s soul. The music of the film is composed by A.H Kaashif and Vinayak Sasikumar has penned down the lyrics. Singers Shahabaz Aman, Nakul Abhyankar, and Haricharan Seshadri have lent their voices to the beautiful songs.

Scriptwriter Shanker Ramakrishnan is marking his directorial debut with the film. As per reports, Mammootty will be seen playing the role of John Abraham Palakkal, a prolific professor from Stanford University, who is a successor of Palackal family from central Travancore. The movie is bankrolled by August Cinemas. Sudeep Elamon has cranked in as the cinematographer and Bhuvan Sreenivas will be seen handling the editing of the movie. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is expected to be doing a cameo in the film that also stars Saniya Iyyappan, Ahaana Krishna, and Priya Anand. The team wrapped the shoot a few weeks ago and is reportedly in its post-production stage.
