Amitabh Bachchan unveils the first-ever moving poster of Resul Pookutty’s ‘Otta’

Academy award-winning sound technician Resul Pookutty is all set to don the director’s cap for the first time with the Asif Ali, Shobana, and Arjun Ashokan starrer film ‘Otta’. Recently the Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan unveiled the first-ever moving poster for Resul Pookutty’s maiden directorial ‘Otta’.
Amitabh Bachchan took to his official Twitter handle and shared the moving poster of ‘Otta’. Sharing the poster, ‘Big B’ wrote, “Presenting the first-ever moving poster of a film by Resul Pookutty. Here’s ‘Otta’ for you all.” Resul Pookutty also took to his Facebook handle to share his gratitude towards ‘Big B’ for sharing the moving poster of his directorial debut.
From the mood and the sound design of the moving poster, ‘Otta’ hints at a thriller with some psychological aspects to it. The moving poster features the actors Asif Ali and Arjun Ashokan.
As per the reports, the story of ‘Otta’ is loosely based on the life of S Hariharan who has written the book ‘Runaway Children’ and is also backing Resul Pookutty’s directorial debut.

M Jayachandran is in charge of composing the music of ‘Otta’ under the lyrics penned down by the veteran lyricist Rafeeq Ahamed. Zian Sreekanth will handle the cuts of the film and the cinematography will be done by Arun Varma.
‘Otta’ will also feature the renowned actress Shobana who, as per the reports, was really excited after hearing ‘Otta’s story narrated by Resul Pookutty. Veteran actress Jalaja’s daughter Devi Nair will be also playing a pivotal role in ‘Otta’ along with Baiju Pookutty who is the brother of the ace sound technician Resul Pookutty.
Meanwhile, Resul Pookutty will be handling the sound design department of the upcoming Prithviraj Sukumaran- Blessy film ‘Aadujeevitham’.
