According to reports, there was an incident where Vinayakan's flat, located near the International Stadium in Kaloor, faced damage to its windows due to stone pelting. The attackers also made attempts to force open the door during the incident that occurred around 4 p.m. Meanwhile, it has been reported that the Ernakulam North police took action against Vinayakan based on several complaints, which included the controversial video he had posted on his last day, where he directed criticism towards Oommen Chandy.

Award-winning actor Vinayakan's residence faced an attack carried out by an unidentified group of individuals merely hours after he made a controversial remark regarding the funeral procession of former Kerala Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy.

As per reports, the windows of Vinayakan's flat, situated near the International Stadium in Kaloor, were subjected to damage due to stone pelting.The attackers also allegedly attempted to force open the door. The incident took place around 4 p.m. on the last day.
Meanwhile, the Ernakulam North police reportedly took action against Vinayakan based on multiple complaints, including the contentious video that the actor had posted on his last day, targeting Oommen Chandy.

Vinayakan sparked a major controversy through a Facebook Live session, during which he questioned the significance of the three-day mourning period observed for the demise of Oommen Chandy. The actor faced backlash from netizens who said that he simply sparked an unnecessary controversy by being in the limelight.
On the work front, Vinayakan’s next outing is the Asif Ali starrer ‘Kasargold, which is touted to be a complete entertainer. The movie is helmed by the director Mridul Nair, who is best known for the film ‘B.Tech’.
