Ann-Jomon to tie the knot on Feb 2

Actress Ann Augustine and cinematographer Jomon T John, who got engaged last year, will enter wedlock on February 2, and is currently busy with last-minute preparations.
“Ann and Jomon are planning to get married in Cherthala, the groom’s hometown. The wedding reception will be held a day after the wedding at Maradu, Kochi. The couple is currently busy attending the mandatory counselling session before marriage,” said a source close to the actress.
Ann’s wedding costumes are being designed by a Kochi-based fashion house that had put together her engagement attires as well.
Ann’s father, actor Augustine, had passed away in November last year due to liver ailments. “Ann’s father deeply wished to attend her wedding. Even in his last moments, he said that the wedding should be conducted soon. This is the reason why the duo decided not to delay the marriage,” the source adds.
Apparently, Ann has not decided whether or not to continue with her acting career after marriage.Her latest outing was Shyamaprasad’s critically acclaimed film, Artist, in which she was paired with Fahadh Faasil. Jomon’s cinematography in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s recent offering, Thira, was widely noticed and appreciated.
