Antony Varghese Pepe’s next titled ‘Poovan’

Antony Varghese Pepe is collaborating with the makers of ‘Super Sharanya’ for an upcoming film titled ‘Poovan’. The makers made the title announcement on Sunday (May 1), and also launched a poster. Featuring Antony Varghese Pepe, the upcoming film is helmed by Vineeth Vasudevan, who is best known for his role in ‘Super Sharanya’.
The title poster has a church in the background, apparently, all prepped for Christmas.One can also a bible verse written on the wall near the entrance. The title 'Poovan' translates to ‘Rooster’.

Written by Varun Dhara, the cinematographer for 'Poovan' is Sajith Purushan. Akash Joseph Varghese has roped in as the editor and Midhun Mukundan is the music director. Sabu Mohan in charge of the art department, while Dhanya Balakrishnan is the costume designer. The makers of 'Super Sharanya' are backing the project.

Antony Varghese Pepe, who ventured into showbiz with the Malayalam film 'Angamaly Diaries' in 2017, has managed to secure a place in Malayalam cinema. His performance in Lijo Jose Pellissery’s ‘Angamaly Diaries’ grabbed eyeballs and his collaboration with the maverick director once again resulted in the acclaimed 'Jallikattu', which went on to be premiered at the Toronto International Film festival.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Antony Varghese’s last outing was ‘Ajagajantharam’ directed by Tinu Pappachan.
