Antony Varghese signs up for light-hearted romance

It looks like Antony Varghese will have his hands full in 2020. The Jallikettu actor is set to do a romcom, titled Meri Jaan, written by Anuraj O B and helmed by debutant Abhishek K S. “The film will have an equal focus on romance and comedy,” said a source working on Meri Jaan. “It is a college story that is set in Thrissur and Guruvayoor. The shoot is scheduled to start during the vacation season.” The casting call for the rest of the actors, including the leading lady, is expected to be made in a week.
Antony Varghese is currently shooting for Ajagajantharam, directed by Tinu Pappachan, in Palakkad. He is also working on another campus film, by debut director Nahas Hidayath, and in a film by another new director and writer Vineeth Vasudevan.
