In most of her movies, actress Anumol has played characters who are a lot more mature than her real self.
But soon, for the first time, she would play a someone who is similar to her in terms of age. In the movie titled ‘While,’ directed by Saheer Abbas, she plays a young girl named Arundhathi and the film’s shoot is almost complete.
Anumol says, “In the film, my character Arundhathi is a girl who moves to Kochi after a small tiff with her husband.

There is nothing extraordinary about her, but is a girl who takes charge of her life. She takes an apartment for herself and begins exploring the various facets of life in the city.”
The actress tells us why she liked the character. “Most of the times, I have played mundu and blouse clad characters who are a lot more mature than me. Arundhathi is unlike any of them. An ordinary, semi-modern girl whose costumes are also like that, I have been loving this refreshing change for once. Moreover, I liked how she takes the control of her life and the way it progresses ahead.”
Interestingly, the actress had posted a video online in which she gave a glimpse into her taking the test for Covid – 19, for the fourth time, though she hadn’t revealed the project that she is going to join after the test. “It was during the shoot of this film,” Anu says, laughing.
She also has a movie titled ‘Pendulam,’ directed by Rejin S Babu, coming up. “Its shoot will start soon and I will join the set on January 12, in Thrissur,” says the actress.
