After a sabbatical, actress Aparna Nair will face the camera once again. She will play the central character in the movie titled St. Marysile Kolapathakam. Director S N Shijoy, who has also penned the script for the crime thriller, says, “The story revolves around the murder of a woman that takes place in St Mary’s Working Women’s Hostel. The woman goes missing and is later found murdered.
The rest of the plot revolves around the murder investigation.”
This is Shijoy’s debut directorial venture; he has worked as an associate with Madhu Kaithapram. The crime thriller will also star Poojitha Menon, Sudheer Karamana, Indrans and Ullas Pandalam. The movie is expected to go on floors on December 17 at Trivandrum. Aparna plays a saleswoman of a leading textile shop along with Anju Raj, a newbie in the film.
Meanwhile, the actress has also signed up an art film, Thamara, directed by Prakash in which she plays the title role.
