AR Rahman’s return to Malayalam cinema is as glorious as expected. The music maestro has created magic with the songs in ‘Aadujeevitham’.
Blessy’s ‘Aadujeevitham’ starring
Prithviraj Sukumaran is set for release, and the makers have dropped the video song ‘Periyone’ from it.
The heart-wrenching song, which is a prayer to the almighty, evokes deep emotions. The song is written by
Rafeeq Ahmed and sung by Jithin Raj.
Interestingly, AR Rahman has also crafted the first two lines of the song. The team reportedly made the song only after crafting the complete lyrics. The song is released in five languages, with Rafeeq Ahmed, Prasoon Joshi, Mashook Rahman, Rakendu Mouli, and Pravan KB crafting the lyrics for Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada versions, respectively.
AR Rahman launched the song via his social media handle and said, “A soulful melody, a heart-wrenching call to the Almighty seeking his infinite grace, and expressing the longing for one's beloved.”
