Asif Ali: Thrissivaperoor Kliptham is based on the lifestyle of people in Thrissur

Asif Ali has been part of a lot of experimental ventures, of late, and that’s what makes his upcoming movie Thrissivaperoor Kliptham different. The movie is directed by Ratheish Kumar and has a star cast comprising Aparna Balamurali, Chemban Vinod, Shilpi Sharma and Baburaj, along with Asif.
The actor tells us, “It’s more of a commercial film based on the lifestyle of people in Thrissur.I have known Ratheish for long. He was one of the leading associate directors in the industry and he’s working on his debut film after assisting for 10 films. That’s against the trend that you usually see where people direct a movie after assisting for one or two movies.”
Asif also has Shanil Muhammed’s Avarude Raavukal and Arun Kumar Aravind’s Kaatu gearing up for release.
