Prithviraj will have a packed first half next year, which will once again have him travelling abroad.
While he will begin the New Year with Pradeep M Nair's Vimaanam, the actor will start work on scriptwriter-turned-filmmaker Jinu Abraham's directorial debut Adam by February.
We had earlier reported that Bollywood actress Mishti Chakraborty has been roped in to play the love interest of Prithviraj's character in the film.
Now, the director tells us that the entire cast has been finalised and
Bhavana, Narain and
Rahul Madhav are being cast in pivotal roles.
'Bhavana's role has equal importance as that of the heroine,' says Jinu, without divulging much about the character. The movie also has Siddique, Jaya Menon and Baby Abida Hussain, who played Akshay Kumar's daughter in Airlift.
The film has Prithviraj playing Adam John Pothen. 'His dad was a planter. Once he passes away, Adam takes up the family business and manages the property,' he says, adding that the movie's first schedule will be in Kerala and the team will fly to Scotland by February end to can the remaining portions.
Jinu had previously written the scripts for Prithviraj-starrers Masters and London Bridge. On choosing the actor for his directorial debut, the filmmaker says, 'I couldn't think of anyone other than him to play Adam. I have spent close to one and a half years working on the script and since the inception of the project, Prithvi has been there to back me. When I told him the idea, he encouraged me to develop it further and now I am making my directorial debut.'
