Durga Krishna who has roped in to play the leading lady in ‘Kudukku 2025’ spills the beans about the film.
Durga confirms that as the title suggests the story of ‘Kudukku 2025’ takes place in 2025, “Many people have asked us whether the film is releasing in 2025. No, it isn’t, but the story of the film happens in 2025, in the future.”
Speaking about the crux of the film, Durga shared, “Our film is about the changes that would take place, with the advancement of technology. And yes, ‘Kudukku 2025’ happens in a post-pandemic era. We are living in a period where anything and everything is accessible at our fingertips. But does that have anything to do with our privacy? Is our personal information secure? Our film tries to address these questions.”
When asked about her role in the movie, Durga Krishna divulged, “I am playing the role of Eve in the film. The film also has a romantic plot and
Krishna Sankar is appearing as a hero for the first time. He will be seen playing Maaran.”
Durga Krishna also adds that she had quite some fun on the sets of ‘Kudukku 2025’. “I enjoyed shooting for Kudukku. Kichu (Krishna Sankar) and I met for the first time, on the sets of this movie and we have developed a great rapport. In fact, he has become my best friend. My family has also grown fond of him and he has become a member,” she added.
Helmed by Bilahari, the upcoming film will also feature Shine Tom Chacko, Aju Varghese, Ram Mohan, and Swasika in some pivotal roles. “Two songs from the film have come out and we are getting a good response. Regarding the release, we haven’t decided, due to the current situation,” she said signing off.
