It’s a wrap for Manju Warrier starrer ‘Ayisha’

Makers of ‘Ayisha’ starring Manju Warrier, called it a wrap, after successfully completing the film of the multi-lingual in various parts of the world. Helmed by debutant Aamir Pallikkal, the upcoming film is simultaneously made in Malayalam, Arabic, and, English, and dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages. The movie went on floors in January, in Ras Al-Khaimah, and this Wednesday (Apr 20), the makers announced pack-up.Manju Warrier was seen decked up in a saree during the last day of the shoot. The director has confirmed the same via his social media handle.

Directed by Aamir Pallikkal, ‘Ayisha’ will feature Manju Warrier in the titular role. Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, the makers have revealed that Manju Warrier’s character will be speaking English, and Arabic in the film, and the major parts of the film will be shot in the Gulf. Since the movie showcases a mix of Indo-Arabic cultures, ‘Ayisha’ will also have some prominent Arab actors. The makers also launched the first look poster of the film lately, wherein Manju Warrier was spotting a colourful look.

'Ayisha' is scripted by Ashif Kakkodi, and Vishnu Sarma has roped in as the cinematographer. Appu N Bhattathiri is the editor, while the music is done by M Jayachandran. Prabhudeva has roped in as the choregrapher. Unni and Arshad Nakkoth are in charge of the art department, while the costumes are done by Sameera Saneesh and the makeup is done by Ronex Xavier. Since the makers have wrapped up the shoot, the film is expected to be hitting the big screens this year.
