It’s a wrap for Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad’s ‘Hridayapoorvam’ first schedule!

The first schedule of ‘Hridayapoorvam’, directed by Sathyan Anthikad and starring Mohanlal, has been completed.

‘Hridayapoorvam’ marks the reunion of Sathyan Anthikad and Mohanlal after Ennum Eppozhum. In the film, Mohanlal plays a character named Sandeep Balakrishnan. The story is written by Akhil Sathyan, while the screenplay is penned by T.P. Sonu, a newcomer in Malayalam cinema. Sathyan Anthikad was reportedly impressed by T.P. Sonu’s telefilm Night Call, which led to this collaboration. Anoop Sathyan serves as the chief associate director.

Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead in the film, with actors Sangeetha and Lalu Alex also portraying key roles. Additionally, the film features a few fresh faces. The music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran, with lyrics by Manu Manjith. The cinematography is handled by Anu Moothedath, while K. Rajagopal is in charge of editing.
According to Asianet News reports, after the first schedule wrap of Sathyan Anthikad’s directorial, Mohanlal will now dedicate time to promotional activities for his most awaited upcoming film ‘L2: Empuraan’ which is gearing up for a grand release on March 27.
Meanwhile, before the release of ‘Empuraan’, there will be a re-release of the first installment ‘Lucifer’ which is set for March 20. The expectations are quite high for Prithviraj Sukumaran’s third directorial venture. Amid the release date delay rumors, the ‘Empuraan’ makers recently unveiled a new poster with a caption that read, “The first day, first show of #L2E #Empuraan will start at 6:00 AM IST on the 27th of March 2025. Shows across the world will start at the corresponding time in respective time zones. Stay tuned for further details! Malayalam | Tamil | Hindi | Telugu | Kannada.”
On the other hand, Mohanlal will be also teaming up with Anoop Menon for an upcoming project. The actor also has the most awaited ‘Thudarum’ in the pipeline.
