Actress Samyukta Menon, the heroine of
Tovino Thomas' 'Theevandi,' is as busy as the film's hero, helping flood victims in various parts of Kerala. And not just her, many others too from the film's team, including its music director
Kailas Menon, have been spending time at the relief camps in Cherthala and Idukki helping out those who have lost their houses and belongings to the monsoon floods.
A video of the actress serving food at the camp in Holy Family School, Cherthala has been going around in social media, in which she can be seen serving beaten rice and banana to a long queue of camp residents. Kailas Menon, who is also with the team, says, "Media in general is reporting that things are under control, but actually its not. There are girls here in these camps who have not even been able to change their clothes for the past 10 days. Recently, we managed to get them some change of clothes, but the situation is that different camps lack different materials. If it's food in one, it's shirt in another or churidhars in others."
