Lal and Anagha Narayanan to star in ‘Dear Vaappi’

Veteran actor Lal and Anagha Narayanan of ‘Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam’ fame will be headling an upcoming film titled ‘Dear Vaappi’. Actor Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju will be seen in a pivotal role in the film. ‘Dear Vaappi’ is directed by Shan Thulaseedharan and the makers have launched the title poster of the same.
The film reportedly tells the story of Basheer, who is a tailor by profession, and his daughter Amira, who is a model and has big dreams about her future.As the title suggests, the film will be exploring the beautiful bond between a father and her daughter. The makers will start filming for 'Dear Vaappi' on September 10 and Thalassery, Mahé, Mysore, and Mumbai are the major locations. Kailas Menon is composing music for the film.

Manu Manjith and BK Harinarayanan are crafting the lyrics for ‘Dear Vaappi’, for which Kailas Menon is composing the music. Apart from Lal, Anagha Narayanan, and Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju, the film also has Sreerekha of ‘Veyil’ fame, Sasi Erinjikkal of ‘Puzhu’ fame in some pivotal roles.

On the technical side, S Pandi Kumar, who has wielded the lens for ‘Haggada Kone’ and ‘Richie’ will be cranking the lens for ‘Dear Vaappi’. Lijo Paul is the editor for the film, and the costume design is done by Praveen Varma.
