Poonam Bajwa to play a home maker in her next

Actress Poonam Bajwa has proved her mettle in both traditional as well as modern roles in Malayalam films. In her next venture in M-Town, the actress will be seen playing the role of a homemaker, in a film directed by debutant Ullas Unnikrishnan.
Speaking about the subject of the film, the director says, "The untitled project is a love story with elements of humour in it. Joju George plays a retired army officer and Poonam is his wife. Their story is shown as a flashback in the film."
There is one more couple in the film, played by Rahul Madhav and Anjana Menon. However, it is actor Lal whose role is of prominence in the project. "Lal sir plays Sachi, a police officer who is currently under suspension. He comes across a news article and is in search of the truth."
Actors Babu Antony and Murali Krishnan are also part of the cast. The movie is expected to start rolling in June at Peermedu and will later travel to Thodupuzha.
