Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Jana Gana Mana’ locks its OTT release date

‘Jana Gana Mana’ directed by Dijo Jose Antony is undoubtedly one of the surprise hits of this year and the film on the last day proudly made its grand entry into the Rs. 50 crore club. Recently the makers also announced that the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer is all set to release via a popular OTT platform from June 2nd onwards.

Suraj Venjaramoodu, who plays a fierce cop character in ‘Jana Gana Mana’ took to his official Instagram handle to announce that the film will be available on a popular OTT platform from June 2nd onwards.

Suraj Venjaramoodu’s Instagram note read, “From June 2nd in all languages (Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada & Hindi). The post was soon flooded with comments from movie buffs who were all excited to watch the movie on their home screens.

‘Queen’ fame Dijo Jose Antony’s sophomore directorial venture ‘Jana Gana Mana’ dealt with a pan-Indian content which turned the mirror onto the society itself and brought out the dirty minds among them. The film exceptionally used a reverse story treatment in its second half that made the viewers in awe. Kudos to the brilliant writing by Sharis Mohammed and its clean execution by the director Dijo Jose Antony
Apart from Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu, ‘Jana Gana Mana’ had a casting coup of sorts consisting of the actors Shari, Mamta Mohandas, Vincy Aloshious, and Dhruvan.
‘Jana Gana Mana’ is said to have a second installment and the ending of the film also hints at a potential sequel for Dijo Jose Antony’s directorial film.
