Priyadarshan, Mohanlal to team up again for a big budget movie

The success of Priyadarshan and Mohanlal's recent venture Oppam would surely have spurred the duo on to team up again. From recent reports, it's gathered that the two would indeed be collaborating on a big budget movie that also has Sabu Cyril as part of the production crew.
When we reached out to Priyadarshan, the director told us, 'The talks are on (for a movie) but nothing has been finalised yet.' Mohanlal is currently busy with the shooting of the multilingual war-drama 1971: Beyond Borders, in which he would be seen in two roles.
The actor will next join the sets of B Unnikrishnan's upcoming film in which he plays a retired cop. Mohanlal, meanwhile, has Munthirivallikal Thalirkumbol, the release of which is pending due to the ongoing standoff between the film producers and theatre owners.
