Samyuktha Menon roped in as the leading lady in Dhanush’s ‘Vaathi’

Samyuktha Menon has bagged yet another exciting project. The ‘Theevandi’ actress has signed her next with Tamil superstar Dhanush. Samyuktha Menon has roped in to play the leading lady in Dhanush’s upcoming bilingual film titled ‘Vaathi’. Releasing in Tamil and Telugu, the film is helmed by Venky Atluri. The upcoming film has been titled 'Vaathi' in Tamil and 'Sir' in Telugu.
Samyuktha Menon was elated to join the cast of the Dhanush starrer.“This one is special ❤️ A Tamil-Telugu bilingual with my favourite and most brilliant @dhanushkraja. The announcement has thrilled the cinephiles, as well, as ‘Vaathi’ will also mark Dhanush’s first direct Telugu film.
Dinesh Krishnan is the cinematographer, while, G.V. Prakash will be scoring the music. Navin Nooli has roped in as the editor for the film. Makers of the movie have dropped a video, launching the title. The upcoming film will be portraying 'an ambitious journey of a common man', and Dhanush will be apparently playing a teacher in the film.

On the other hand, Dhanush is on a promotional spree, as his Hindi movie ‘Atrangi Re’ with Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan is releasing on an OTT platform on December 24.
Meanwhile, Samyuktha Menon has some exciting films like ‘Bheemla Nayak’, ‘Gaalipata 2’, and ‘Kaduva’ in her kitty.
