Swasika to ‘Chathuram’ director Sidharth Bharathan: Thank you for trusting me with Selena

Sidharth Bharathan’s directorial ‘Chathuram’ featuring Swasika Vijay, Alencier Ley Lopez, and Roshan Mathew in the lead roles, hit the big screens last Friday (Nov 4) and the film is receiving decent reviews. Swasika who played the lead role of Selena in the film, has now penned a note, extending her gratitude to the director for trusting her with the role.
Sharing a video from the sets of ‘Chathuram’, Swasika Vijay said, “To the captain of our ship, Thank you for trusting me with Selena.This would not have happened without you. Definitely, a movie is always the director's form of art but you have made sure that we all sail comfortably on the ship of "Chathuram".You have ensured that all of the elements are perfect; that they contribute to telling a complete story. You are one of the best directors I have worked with and I know there are more to come on your way!”

‘Chathuram’ which was initially billed as an ‘A’ certified movie by the makers, however, was received as a ‘decent erotic thriller’ by the audience, when the film hit the cinemas. Alencier Ley Lopez’s Eldho, a chauvinistic abuser, his wife Selena played by Swasika, and Balathazar, the home nurse played by Roshan Mathew excelled throughout the film, thanks to their solid performances and thereby delivering a decent thriller to the movie buffs. ‘Chathuram’ is currently running in the cinemas.
