Veena Nandakumar stuns Bombay Jayashri by crooning 'Vaseegara'

Be it a Tamilian or a Keralite, music lovers down South are madly in love with playback singer Bombay Jayashri's voice and her evergreen song 'Vaseegara'. The song from Tamil movie 'Minnale' is undoubtfully a chartbuster and music enthusiasts will only fall more and more for the song every time they listen to it. 'Kettyolanu Ente Malakha' fame actress Veena Nandakumar is a huge fan of Bombay Jayashri and her magnificent voice.The Mollywood beauty recently happened to meet the veteran singer and crooned a song along with her! Like any music lover, Veena Nandakumar fell in love with Bombay Jayashri ever since she heard the song ‘Vaseegara’.
Veena also used to croon the same song, whenever someone asked her to sing. Meeting the playback singer was always a dream for Veena. And as she finally got the opportunity to meet the singer, Veena requested Bombay Jayashri to croon a few lines of ‘Vaseegara’ for her. The actress also joined Jayashri and hummed a few lines and the professional playback singer was delighted to hear Veena’s singing chops! Hearing Veena crooning the song, Bombay Jayshri said “That’s lovely.”
Sharing the precious moment on her Instagram handle, Veena wrote, “I fell in love with @jayashriramnath from the very first day I heard Vaseegara and ever since I have always sung this song wherever I have been asked to sing a song... I always dreamt of tuning into this song with her..and here it is after 19yrs of wait....with the beautiful Bombay Jayashri .love her so much❤️This moment will be cherished forever.”

The song ‘Vaseegara’ is from the Tamil movie 'Minnale' which had music composed by Harris Jayaraj and lyrics penned by Thamarai.
Meanwhile, Veena Nandakumar shot to fame with her performance in the Malayalam movie ‘Kettyolanu Ente Malakha’. She was paired opposite Asif Ali in the movie where she played Rincy a newlywed and her performance was lauded.
