Vishnu Unnikrishnan to star in ‘Idiyan Chandu’

Vishnu Unnikrishnan has announced his next. He will be headlining an upcoming film titled 'Idiyan Chandu.' The upcoming film is directed by Sreejith Vijayan, who has previously helmed films like 'Kuttanadan Marpappa,' and 'Margamkali.' The makers have kickstarted the shoot this week with a puja function. A first look poster featuring Vishnu Unnikrishnan duct-taped to a classroom board, and he looks injured.Actors Lena, Ramesh Pisharody, Jayashree Sivadas, Lalu Alex, Biju Sopanam, and, Sooraj Thelakkad, too are part of the cast.
Vishnu Unnikrishnan shared the first look poster on social media and said, “My Next IDIYAN CHANDHU.”

Going by the title, 'Idiyan Chandu' is expected to be an action entertainer. Interestingly, popular action choreographer Peter Hein will be designing the action sequences for the upcoming films.

Written and directed by Sreejith Vijayan, 'Idiyan Chandu' has a talented crew. Vignesh Vasu has roped in as the cinematographer, while V Saajan has roped in as the editor. Dileep Nath is the production designer. The sound design is done by Dan Jo. The makeup is done by Arshad Varkala. The costume is designed by Rafi Kaannadiparamba. Nidhinram Naduvathur is the VFX director. The film will be hitting the big screens in 2024.
