After showcasing power-packed performances in 100 Days of Love and Thani Oruvan, actor Rahul Madhav is all set to play a wildlife photographer in Peter Sunder’s upcoming Malayalam film titled Oxygen.
On the adventure thriller, the director tells us, “Rahul plays a US-based wildlife photographer Noah, who is on a trip to a forest in Kerala. He meets a girl, who is also on a visit to the forest.

She has recently been rejected by a forest officer for not being ‘modern’ enough. She has taken it up as a challenge to prove herself. She falls in love with , and thus begins the story filled with adventure and suspense.” Peter has also scripted the movie, which is based on a story conceived by the movie’s cinematographer Sinu Siddharth.
Rahul, who is an ardent photographer in real life too, is apparently all excited to carry the lens onscreen. “Noah is one of the most interesting characters I have essayed so far. With the forest being the main location, it’s definitely going to be a challenge that I am looking forward to,” he says. “Also, I hope to use my own camera for the scenes and capture some amazing photos along the shoot.”
The movie, which will go on floors next week, will be shot in the backdrop of the forests in the outskirts of Trivandrum. Major Ravi and Saikumar play the other important characters.
