Veteran singer – actor Unni Menon, who has many hits to his credit in South Indian languages, will be heard next in Malayalam.
The ‘Pudhu Vellai Mazhai’ singer would be lending his voice for the movie ‘Karnan Nepolian Bhagat Singh,’ which has Ranjin Raj Varma as the music director. It is Ranjin himself who shared the news via his social media page recently.
The music director wrote on his page thus:

Last year, Unni Menon had sung for the Jayaram – Vijay Sethupathi – Athmeeya movie ‘Marconi Mathai’ too, in which he sang the song ‘Thotte,’ which was composed by music director M Jayachandran and penned by Filmfare Award winner lyricist B K Harinarayanan. In 2016, he had also sung the hit Onam song ‘Thiruvaavani Raavu for the Vineeth Sreenivasan movie ‘Jacobinte Swargarajyam.’
‘Karnan Nepolian Bhagat Singh’ is written and directed by Sarath G Mohan. The movie, which is produced by First Page Entertainment, has Prashant Krishna as DOP, Reckson Joseph as editor, Rafeeq Ahammed, Harinarayanan and director Sarath G Mohan himself as the lyricists and costumes by Sameera Saneesh.
A while ago, the title poster of the upcoming movie was released online and it was launched by 'Jallikattu' movie actor Antony Varghese through his official Facebook handle. The movie also has ‘Kalki’ fame actor Dheeraj Denny, who is the cousin of Tovino Thomas, playing the role of a cop.
