'Ani... Dr Kashinath Ghanekar' trailer: Abhijeet Deshpande rejuvenates the golden era of Marathi theatre with this Subodh Bhave starrer

The long-awaited trailer of Abhijeet Shirish Deshpande's 'Ani... Dr Kashinath Ghanekar' has arrived and it is every bit intriguing. While fans were amazed at how Subodh Bhave managed to look like the legendary Dr Kashinath Ghanekar's doppelganger, his acting chops prove he is a class apart. He nails Ghanekar's style, talk and everything in between. Unlike the previous teaser trailer, this 3 minutes clip features a lot of footage from the film and some of them really manage to create an impact on the viewers.
The clip begins with the Bhave taking centre frame as the legendary actor who is an eminent dentist being questioned about his craze for Marathi theatre.Filmmaker Abhijeet Shirish Deshpande, who marks his directorial debut with this biopic has beautifully captured Bhave as Ghanekar in his various characters including Sambhaji Maharaj.
Kashinath's struggle to make history in Marathi theatre can be seen in the clip which has only added to the curiosity among the audience. Bhave's dialogue from 'Laalya' to 'Ekdam Jakaas' has already become popular. Apart from Subodh Bhave's role, Sonali Kulkarni as Sulochana Latkar, Sumeet Raghvan as (Dr Shriram Lagoo) and Prasad Oak as (Prabhakar Panshikar) also hold their own in the trailer.
