Marathi actor-director Subodh Bhave has been tested positive for COVID-19. The actor, who is known for films like 'Katyar Kaljat Ghusali', 'Lokmanya-Ek Yugpurush' etc, shared the news through his social media.
He shared that his wife Manjiri and elder son Malhar has also tested positive for COVID-19. She added that they are in home-quarantine and are being treated under supervision of doctors.
Soon after he shared the post, his fans, friend and colleagues from Marathi industry wished for his speedy recovery. Pranali Ghogare wrote, "Hope and pray that you all get well soon sir @subodhbhave," (sic). Prachee Shah Pandya wrote, "Take care ...wishing you speedy recovery," (sic). Other actors including Suyash Tilak, Shruti Marathe, Rutuja Bagwe, Sneha Wagh also wished for family's speedy recovery.
Bhave's last release Vijeta, which was a sports drama had hit the theatres on March 13. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus outbreak, the cinema halls were shut down. Last month, actor Rutuja Bagwe and choreographer Phulawa Khamkar had shared the news of father and husband testing positive for COVID-19, respectively.
