An exhibition titled Garden of Dreams, featuring the works of artist Maya Burman, was inaugurated at Nayan Naveli Gallery in New Delhi, on February 12. The event saw the attendance of over 200 guests, including art collectors, critics, and enthusiasts. The exhibition, running until March 29, showcases a combination of Burman’s early works from the 1990s alongside her contemporary pieces, creating a dialogue between two distinct periods of her artistic journey.

Maya Burman notes, “While working on the film Maya – the Golden Light, I went through all my paintings from the last 25 years. I could see a significant change between the work I did in the '90s and my work today. I also realise what has been made cannot be done again. My hand, my imagination, and my sensibility are completely different now. I decided to mix my earlier work with my current paintings, creating a dialogue between two periods of my life.”
