Shehnaaz Gill wants to do a real-life based character on the big screen

Punjabi singer-actor Shehnaaz Gill, who was earlier seen mostly either singing songs or acting in music videos, is all set to make her Punjabi movie debut as a lead star with ‘Honsla Rakh’. During the promotion of the same, in an interview, the actress talked about her dream role. She reportedly mentioned that she wishes to bring a real character to the reel.
She mentioned that it really doesn’t matter that the real character is based on a very famous personality or on an ordinary person.It is just that her heart desires to do a character that is based on a real-life personality.
During the same interview, Shehnaaz Gill also mentioned her most loved and challenging scene in ‘Honsla Rakh’. She has an airport scene with Shinda Grewal, which is very emotional. For that particular scene, Shehnaaz was supposed to shed some tears, but a fake cry is not Shehnaaz’s cup of tea. However, owing to the directors and producers, she was able to act the way the film required.
Coming to the movie, ‘Honsla Rakh’ is releasing this Friday, on October 15, 2021. It stars Shehnaaz Gill in the lead with Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, and Shinda Grewal. Further, backrolled by Daljit Thind and Diljit Dosanjh, the movie has been directed by Amarjit Singh Saron.
