'Dragon' actor Pradeep Ranganathan reacts to comparisons with Dhanush, says "I only see myself"

Amid the phenomenal success of his latest film 'Dragon', actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan has addressed the ongoing comparisons between the emerging actor and popular actor Dhanush. The Gen-Z drama has been widely appreciated by audiences, with social media buzzing with praise for Pradeep Ranganathan’s performance. As the film continues its strong run at the box office, discussions about his resemblance to Dhanush have also gained traction, prompting the actor to break his silence on the matter. During a recent promotional event for 'Dragon', Pradeep Ranganathan was asked about the frequent comparisons fans have been making between him and Dhanush. Many believe that the two actors share similar facial features and an overall on-screen presence. This resemblance has sparked debates among moviegoers, leading to curiosity about how Pradeep Ranganathan himself perceives such comparisons. Pradeep Ranganathan stated, “I don’t know, sir... when I look in the mirror, I only see myself. My films are doing well, so I believe I am on the right path. I have heard about these comparisons, but I am not trying to copy anyone. Maybe it’s just the face cut or my physique.” With 'Dragon' emerging as a major success, Pradeep Ranganathan is carving his own niche in the industry, proving that his talent speaks for itself beyond any comparisons.
