With the growing number of COVID-19 positive cases in the country, the film fraternity has also been reporting cases of celebrities being infected by the virus. After Telugu star Mahesh Babu got infected by the
coronavirus, music composer S Thaman seems to have tested positive for COVID-19.
The popular composer, who will be composing music for
Sivakarthikeyan film 'SK20' with director Anudeep, took to his social media account to share about the same.
In his post, he said that he is taking necessary precautions and is quarantining at home.
"Hello all, I have tested positive for Covid-19 with mild symptoms, despite taking all the necessary precautions and being double vaccinated. I have quarantined myself and am following safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. I request everyone who have come in contact with me to please get themselves tested I urge everyone to follow the Covid safety protocols and get vaccinated. Stay safe. Always grateful for your support."
Only yesterday, Thaman shared pictures of spending the earlier night with Sivakarthikeyan, Naveen Polishety, Anudeep, cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa and producer Arun Viswa. We will have to wait and see if any of the above celebrities have also been infected by the deadly coronavirus.
Recently, Kamal Haasan, Vadivelu, Suraaj, Arun Vaidyanathan, Suhail Chandhok of 'Veeram' fame and Arun Vijay had tested positive for COVID-19 and a few of them have recovered as well.
