Sathish heads to Coimbatore for the next schedule of Vithaikkaaran

Actor Sathish is playing the lead role in 'Vithaikkaran', written and directed by Venki, a former associate of Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film will be a dark comedy set in Chennai that will have a serious issue as its central conflict. The popular comedian, who is playing the lead role in this film has headed to Coimbatore for the next schedule of shooting of the film.

Sathish will be seen playing a magician in the film while actress Simran Gupta, who had shaken a leg with Vijay in Simtaangaran (Sarkar), will be playing the female lead. The film also has Anandraj, Madhusudhan, Subramaniam Siva, John Vijay, Pavel Navageethan, Japan Kumar and others. Popular lyricist Vairamuthu will be penning the lyrics for the songs in the film.
