Suseenthiran's next 'Kennedy Club' release postponed

'Kennedy Club' is an upcoming Tamil sports drama written and directed by Suseenthiran. Produced by DN Thai Saravanan under Nallusamy Pictures, the teaser of the film and the single track titled 'Kabaddi Kabaddi' and the full audio was released earlier and was well received.
We had earlier reported that the film is all set to hit the screens on August 15 on Independence Day.Now the latest update is that the film has been postponed to August 22 due to reasons unknown. D Imman has composed the songs and the background score for this film. RB Gurudev will be handling the cinematography and Antony will take care of editing.
This is the third sports subject the director has taken up and will be based on women’s Kabaddi team that has M Sasikumar playing the Kabaddi coach. Veteran director Bharathiraja will be playing one of the lead roles in the film along with actors Samuthirakani and Soori, who will be playing significant roles as well.
The movie has been shot in several locations, including Salem, Erode, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Coimbatore, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad, where the sport is popular. The cast also includes Meenakshi, Neethu, Gayathri, Soumya, Soundarya and Smriti.
