With
Kamal Haasan wrapping up the shoot of Thoonga Vanam, there has been speculation on his next project, which is going to be a 'quickie' that he will act in to compensate the loss incurred by the producers of Uttama Villain. While the names of Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and Mouli are being bandied about, we hear that the Ulaganayagan is actually in talks with six or seven directors and is yet to choose one of them to work with.
Kamal is keen on finishing this film, which is expected to be a comedy, in a short duration (much like how he did with Papanasam), so that he can move on to more ambitious ones. The film's producer is also yet to be chosen and it will be decided by a federation of producers and distributors headed by Tirupur Subramaniam, according to a source close to the actor.
