Hit pair Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda to reunite for special song in Puri Jagannadh's 'Jana Gana Mana'

Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna make a great onscreen pair, and their previous outings, such as 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Dear Comrade' stand testimony to it. This time, the hit pair, will reportedly reunite for a special song in upcoming film, 'Jana Gana Mana'. Although Janhvi Kapoor was originally considered to play the lead in the project, the offer was eventually bagged by Pooja Hegde.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the upcoming movie will is expected to be made in at least five languages Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam and will be featured prominently as a pan-India film. Touted to be an action drama, the big-ticket pan-India entertainer will showcase Vijay Deverakonda in a never seen role, aiming for his next breakthrough performance. The shoot for 'JGM' will commence in April 2022 and will be shot across multiple international locations.

'Jana Gana Mana' will be produced by Charmme Kaur, Vamshi Paidipally, and Puri Jagannadh under the banner of Puri Connect in association with Srikara Studio Production. Puri Jagannadh will pen the screenplay and dialogues along with the direction.
