The newlywed Naga Chaitanya will be seen in the upcoming film 'Thandel'. Recently the pre-release event of the film starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, took place last night in Hyderabad where the 'Dhoota' actor made a charming revelation.
According to a report by 123Telugu, when host Suma asked him to whom he would dedicate the popular song "Bujji Thalli", when asked about his partner, Sobhita Dhulipala. He humorously shared that he affectionately calls her "Bujji Thalli" at home. He shared that Sobhita was a bit upset when the song was released because she felt that the term was a special endearment meant solely for her. He said, "Sobhita was a little upset when the Bujji Thalli song was released. She feels Bujji Thalli was a signature word of endearment exclusively for her. But she was upset that I had used it in Thandel".

Earlier during a promotional event in Visakhapatnam, Naga Chaitanya expressed his personal connection to Vizag, not only as a popular filming location but also as the hometown of his wife, Sobhita Dhulipala. He affectionately referred to her as a "Vizag ammayi" and shared how much the city means to him. In a lighthearted moment, he humorously stated that if Thandel does not perform well in Vizag, he would "lose face at home," emphasizing the importance of local support for the film.
'Thandel' features Sai Pallavi in the female lead role and explores the rugged experiences of fishermen from Srikakulam who accidentally drift into Pakistani waters during a fishing trip. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, this romantic action drama is set to hit theatres on February 7, 2025.
The film's budget is reported to be Rs 75 crores, making it one of Naga Chaitanya's most expensive projects to date. The music of the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Originally, the event was planned as a closed-door gathering with Allu Arjun expected to be the chief guest. However, he was unable to attend.
